Franciscan Hospice Care Volunteers at Annual Lighting the Way Ceremony

During the Month of November, the Church and our country give special remembrance to those who have died. This year, on November 4, 2024, a Lighting the Way Mass and a tree lighting ceremony were held on the campus of the Franciscan Life Center remembering all who have died for whom Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care provided care. Over 150 individuals and families were present for this memorial service.

November is also National Home Care and Hospice Care Month. Health care professionals including nurses, therapists, social workers, and home health aides are remembered this month as they strive to make a difference for the patients and families needing care in the home.
