Summer Experiences for Children and Youth

Scheduling activities for your children can be a “juggle,” so why not start with giving them a Franciscan Land-based Experience this summer. There are two sessions: Monday-Friday, June 26 to 30, and July 24 to 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 405 Allen Avenue, Meriden, CT. Other fun activities are gardening, animal and environmental care, sports, campfire bread making, arts, and crafts.

We also offer a Youth Leadership Program for youth transitioning from 8th grade to high school (13-14 years of age). This program is the week of June 26 to June 30, 2023, on the campus of the Franciscan Life Center, 271 Finch Avenue, Meriden. The youth will engage in confidence and team building activities promoting leadership skills, self-esteem, and communication.
